The Youth in Arbitration seminar aims to introduce students and emerging legal professionals to arbitration as a vibrant and rewarding career path. Hosted by Kathmandu School of Law in partnership with the Arbitration Student Network Nepal, this half-day event offers motivational sessions, mentorship networking, and practical guidance.
The event begins with an introduction to arbitration fundamentals and Nepal’s legal framework. Panel discussions will focus on how to build a career in arbitration through internships, certifications, and moot competitions. Seasoned arbitrators will share their personal journeys and challenges in developing arbitration practices in Nepal.
Special emphasis will be placed on international opportunities through platforms like CIArb and UNCITRAL. The event closes with a CV workshop, LinkedIn clinic, and a group challenge to draft arbitration clauses.
